The existing first division club should state now that they will not play in spl2 if this ridiculous knee- jerk complete restructuring of the national sport goes ahead. Ain't much of an spl2 with only Cowdenbeath in it.

What a shambles our game is - it's a disgrace how inept we seem to be

Hope you enjoy your 'victory'.

I like how the bit in the document shows how the Government are looking after us too!

The establishment links are not dead afterall!

Maybe we should have an integrity fund raiser.

For every fiver that clubs will lose through Rangers Athletic being put in the third division, we will give a tenner.

No, we are doing as we are told.

Just like you, hector, and all the others have wanted us to do from the start.

Your only problem is that this is not what YOU want.

Is that just for the wee tax case or the ticketus cash?

How much for the rest?

Tim - nice try. Did UEFA object to the Scottish Communities Cup (i.e the Scottish Cup)?

Nope

Try again

"WHICH WILL DELIVER BENEFITS TO THE SCOTTISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Scottish Government remain committed to our community strategy"

Im sure UEFA dont mind if a government supports a community strategy or not. Also im sure its at the Government discression if it wants to pull funding from football at a time of an economic downturn to help the pay for other things.

Especially with folk like that Carr not paying their taxes.

Honestly I think they will be pleased.
Funding for our game from any source is great

As long as they are not interfering It should be

I disagree, I would be annoyed if they were not involved.

This is people's jobs and livelyhood we are discussing. This comes ahead of football and its the Governments job to apply heat to make sure the jobs are secured.

Clubs are expected to vote in favour of rangers so they can afford players that aren't good enough to beat rangers.

It's getting very interesting now. Heating up nicely.

The SPL clubs have said no to a newco and they might have had a wee phone call about this deal being handed out.

Give the wee teams in the 1st a bung to let Rangers in and in a season all is back to normal.

That way they show their fans that they never allowed them up, it was the greedy wee teams.....Shame on them.

I wonder how the teams in the 1st will vote on this...

posted on 28/6/12

Im not sure that is how UEFA see it Mitre
However nobody could disagree with that sentiment

Doesnt really matter.

SFA have all but said if they vote against it they will create an SPL 2 with Rangers in it anyway.

Jobs! We've seen mining, textiles, shipbuilding and the steel industry being destroyed taking thousands of jobs, how many do rangers employ?

Let Uefa take on big Alex, there is only gonna be one winner there.

Uefa are not big enough to take on a government on an issue like this.
