And his son is going to be just like his Dad and prove the doubters wrong!! Also he has got respect for both clubs, just like his Dad! Hail the East Midlands.

Who did Clough love more is like the my Dad is bigger than Your Dad argument.

He is a legend for both clubs for similar reasons although managed to achieve more down the road due to the shortsightedness of Longson.

I really cant see why there is any other argument.

Best England manager we never had...

I met Brian at Burton Albion many moons ago as I was picking up a Fantasy Football prize. I walked onto the pitch and shook his hand, 'pleased to meet you Brian.'

His reply?

'I'm sure you are son.'

Legend.

I remember travelling up to Derby to attane his book signing session in Waterstones. That's the only time i met him and i shall treasure that moment for the rest of my days.

On the other hand what an odious little man Billy Davies is. And to think that he made himself out to be the next Brian Clough!

I think Trevor Francis was a record too

Didn't he deliberatly sign Trevor Francis for £999,999.99p so he didn't become big-headed being the first £1,000,000 player?
