It was a good tournament which yet again showed that the coaching,player developement and fan expectation of get the ball in the box as quick as possible in this country is light years behind the rest of Europe.
The product we serve up in the Premier league may be exciting to watch but in relative terms is poor quality football and i wouldn't expect anything to change whilst such vast sums of money are available and the supporters demand of goalmouth action..
I've heard plenty of fans saying the tournament has been boring due to little goal mouth incident and there generally seems to be a lack of appreciation of the technical and tactical intricacies of top level football.
Thats not a moan,just an observation.
I won't be at the Pirelli this season as you all know but i may well chip in with the odd comment occasionally and hope Gary Rowett does a brilliant job for the club.

No worries guys. Of course this was just the pre-season friendly to the main event. I hope that you will all join in the 46 game marathon that will be the Brewers 2012 / 2013 full season predictor.
If you want to predict right now 'lose every game between January and May 2013' you can pick up the title now if you like. .
