Cesc, you are not alone. I am doing everything I can think off to remind people. People are dropping like flies. I think i'll be the only person predicting hy xmas!!!!!!
Not so CEF mate, think about it you have a system set up over a season with boneses involved, and with that, regular gamblers will bet minimum and keep their stake to a lesser loss, so bonus and certainly excessive bonus points should be kept to a minimum.
If I may be presumptive enough, why not keep it to season football, leave international etc out and maybe more would gdt involved regular.
Just feel you're doing too much for too few at the Mo, and regular football may suit better
Had a little wine so slap me if need be.
Igor - would never slap you as you been an ally from the start
So many saying they keep forgetting, and I think it is because the three threads aren't tagged to club boards. I am relying on people to use the Premier League view or their ' member page' to get reminders.
The whole point of this comp, is to allow people to stake on as many or few matches/bonuses as they want. Some are staking on every prediction and some are being very selective.
The problem is that 100 people who predicted in Week 1 or on season bonuses, haven't predicted since.
Some have been banned, say 10, some may be away or on holiday, but the majority have forgotten or have just dropped out.
The Admins have been so helpful so far, and they want this to be a success as much as we do. Think i'm going to email them to see if they can tag the three main threads to all the club boards of those participating. Maybe worth a try
But if you check a bookie over a punter over a year a high % are gonna be the the bookie, thats why lots of punters are avoiding bonus, WCQ, why not narrow you're selection process to the fans favs and leave em with their fav and regular bets.
Just think for year one it might be too regular and time provoking for well meaning but life different postings
I get what you are saying, but the bonuses are a bit of a red herring. I am not expecting high predictions for all the reasons you state.
But there are 100 people who predicted in first week who have forgotten since. This is an administrative issue, and I have emailed Admins with a solution.
Read the whole post and the bonus post ad the result post and you will see many people say they forgot about it.
Also, it takes each person about 2 mins to predict (including thinking time, which most would do up front before commenting). It takes me 35 secs to enter 10 match predictions onto my spreadsheet. It takes me about 5 mins to process each bonus prediction because of the different odds/stakes. I spend approx 6 hours per week processing 100+ people's predictions.
I also get the results out within 10 mins of the final whistle.
