Wenger would rather hand himself
Wouldn't fancy being just a runner up
What and just drop Welbeck after the season he just had?
Welcome Paul just cant stay away from our hoard can you
RVP and Welbeck can rotate
Hernandez impact sub.
Where does that leave Kagawa. If you say wing then where does that leave Valencia, Young and Nani.
If you say CM then you clearly dont know anything about him as he is not a CM, not even close
Exactly Smalling_Jones
People want us to sign players who are similar to players we already have. Why spend big on a striker when we need at least 1 or 2 central midfielders
why waste time attempting this signing when we all know he will go to city, spend the time trying to sign moutinho or modric instead as they are players we actually need
Hopefully they have a backbone for once and don't sell him to City and sell him abroad instead.
Modric isnt a realistic target
Hardly a saga is it? It's not rocket science. Levy will set a ridiculous price tag (£40mil), take it or leave it as Modric has 4 years left to run on contract.
Fergie wont pay that, not even close, Chelsea may, Real may so we stand no chance.
Moutinho is realistic but is he really that much better than a fit Anderson or even Cleverley? For Porto hes looked average

in a word yes

You're probably right but didn't Levy say something like give us one more year to Modric when Spurs rejected Chelsea's bid and they're not in the CL again.
But like you said Spurs don't have to do anything when he has so long left on his contract.
Spurs could just say to Modric, either shut up and play for us, or spend the next 4 years of your life (your prime years) rotting in the reserves and then you can leave when you're in your 30s.
Hes not even on ridiculously high wages I dont think (less than 100k) and Levy is a very wealthy man
-------Carrick-----Modric/Cabaye/Moutinho/?
--Nani---------Rooney------Kagawa
---------------RVP
With Valencia, Young, Welbeck, Chica on the bench?
#20 in the bag
Also, would Fergie tempt Wenger including Berba in a deal? He'd suit Arsenal to a tee
swap Berbatov plus cash... Normally, I would be dead set against another forward, as I don't want to see Danny's progress harmed and also think we will be trying new formations.
But whena truly world class prem performer comes available, it is worth a go. Berba would be ideal at Arsenal too and would ease the blow for their fans.
RVP would be injured if he came to us.
