It can only be about money, greedy
We can replace him
by 100 Per cent Mertesacker (U1306)
Last season he was one of the best players in the world according to some of them.
What do you expect. They're pretty gutted about him leaving, it's perfectly natural. I was disappointed with his decision but now I'm fairly nonplussed to be honest. Move off and move on.
AFL: We were gutted when Ronaldo left, he even had another club in his heart, but we wished him good luck.
Sir Bubbly - Yes but like the fans that you have picked out above, you also would have fans that turned on Ronaldo. It is a part of being human I guess.

Sure, a minority, but on occasion the fans still sing Viva Ronaldo at games, the majority still love him to bits.
I'm just highlighting a few here today because it appears that *today* the majority of Arsenal fans on *606* have turned on him immediately, when his reasons seem perfectly reasonable.
He's 30, he's probably got one last big contract, and one last chance to join another big club in the hope of winning a league title or CL, now is the last time in his career he's going to have this chance. Yet most don't seem to accept this, and hoping he misses out on his dreams, it's even more sad than this Article I copied and pasted out.

.. so he can get used to it for his next club.
Or, loan him out to stoke.
Almost as sad as telling everyone that Hazard is an awful player and that you didn't want him ... the DAY AFTER he signs for a rival!

joke club, fickle "supporters", less ambition than spurs

Exactly my point. You're going to generalise the view of Arsenal fans from what you've seen on this site. That's the saddest thing of all.
Tbh this just sounds like Arsenal fans have come back to reality, they have overrated him last season.

I don't think I saw any comments like that on this board, in fact I distinctly remember most people saying they were disappointed in not getting him.
38 games, 30 goals. Anyone who thinks he won't be missed is an idiot

not that I care much but I distinctly remember reading almost exclusively negative comments after he signed for Chelsea. These boards are full of people who just want to big up their own teams and not talk football so I'm not surprised.
He will be missed, no doubt about that. The thing is that he isn't Ronaldo, he will not be the focal point at any club snd as a result, he will also miss Arsenal Football Club.

Wrong, I'm going to generalise the 606 Arsenal fans I'm not that stupid!
Mind you AFL, I already had this opinion of 606 Arsenal fans before making this Article, today just reinforces things
Well yeah fair enough. The majority of 606 Arsenal fans are absolute morons, you're right there.
Still though, I will severely dislike van Persie should he leave, I will wish him the best in his future endeavours.
Robin Van Persie won't be missed at all, as Nicklas Bendtner will step up to the plate!
