Old trafford is just another name for manchester united it would be a big shame to call it something different.

It won't happen anyway, the Glazers would have done it ages ago to lower the debt but instead they're doing the right thing and floating bits of the club on the stock exchange.

There's a rumour going around that our new sponsor for 2013/14 will be Bwin. They can't renew their current sponsorship with Real Madrid due to a legal challenge so a deal with United wouldn't be a surprise tbh if it's true.

Sponsor for shirts or what TRS?

Who would call it the "DHL Arena" or whatever?! Just the media. Everyone else would still call it Old Trafford. So sell the rights, get some money, continued success.

didn't united reject a betting sponsor before as the club didn't want to be conected to a betting group....even though they were paying alot more money??

plus, would the Glazers keep the money themselves or do you think they would put it into reducing the debt.....I think we all know the answer to that one

Yup, it was 'Mansion', who subsequently went on to sponsor Spurs.

A rose by any other name.....etc,etc...
People would still call it OT or Old Trafford....when someome give ya a rotten nickname, there's nothing you can do about it, 'cept take it...London is still "old smoke' or foggytown, even tho' ya don't see much of it!
Old Trafford will always be Old trafford, what ever they do or try to change.

Apart from Cantona's - "theater of dreams" , the name Old Trafford should just be left alone. Leave it to Newcastle & City to sell their souls!

Old Trafford is an iconic name known worldwide

Renaming iconic stadia for money is a massive no no for me.

Imaging places like: Wimbledon, Lords, St Andrews, Anfield, Twickenham, Henley, being renamed just for dosh. We'd be losing some of our heritage for me.

Stick the money. It's Old Trafford. End of.
