Not too worried about this. There is better out there
Agreed - I think we are going to see quality come in when the new owners start to splash the cash, hence Chambers deciding not to hang around.
I think Chambers is hanging around.
He hasn't signed and apparently reports out of Ipswich say he won't sign until next week at the earliest.
That sounds like a let's wait and see until after Monday when the takeover is complete and if Cotterill is allowed to sign him up.
Big PR exercise by the looks of it. Chambers has talks with Ipswich. Maybe advised to wait by his agent as SC is going to try and sign him up.
My prediction is : Chambers could be our first signing
Do we want Chambers? Too error prone and thinks he's a some kinda big time charlie. I'd happily take some young up and coming 20 - 25 year centre half from league 1 or 2 who'll be at least if not better than Chambers earning a quarter of his expected salary. The lad Karleigh Osbourne for one.
I'd have Higginbottom back too...
Just have a feeling SC will persuade him to sign
We definitley want Chambers. OK he has a bad year, but al lot of people did, and there was a lot of pressure on him being camptain. He was our best player a couple of years ago. Even if he ends up as back up, we still want him. And he loves Forest, thats always good.
If he does resign, he needs to know that he won't be captain anymore and to just concentrate on defending.
Hasn't he been offered £12,000-a-week at Ipswich?
Not sure about matching or even getting close to that, he's worth what he was on really, around £8,000-a-week imo.
I think the 12k a week is a smoke screen - Ipswich can't afford that according to their own sources. I think it's a case of Luke upping his salary price to stay at Forest.
I'm sure even with the new owners he would be offered a contract although surely the Captaincy needs to go to Camp or A. New player e.g. Higginbotham.
So what?
There are other players, better players at that.
I'd love to know why most fans just want to sign players that failed to get us up before. A part from Pep they werent very good.
If I see one more person tweet Earnie begging him to come back and saying he's a legend I'll do my nut. We let him go to Cardiff for nowt and he couldn't get in there side. There was a reason for that.
If I see one more person...I'll do my nut

Sutton I'm beginning to find you rather amusing now. Not one for repetition much eh
stressful day again sutton?
Sutton's right, why should we make an effort to resign players who were shee-ite! New owners and backing so lets get busy rebuilding the squad rather than making our failed ex players even richer millionaires
Should we try to sell Camp then? He was just as bad at times.
Clear them all out. None of them won us promotion so get rid of the lot.
Failures.
calm down lads, calm down
You sound like a bunch of scousers trying to sell 2nd hand wheel caps
Sutton's right

I'd happily turf Camp out on his A-hole! Thinks he's some hot shot international yet his international competition would be tougher if he declared for the Faroe Islands. Threw his dummy out over his Swansea move falling through. Get young Darlow in, the size of him, he could be the next Schmicheal
Sutton is right. What he's doing on Earnshaw's Twitter site if he doesn't like him is another question though.
