reckon its wishful thinking alright mate
but if Bale really has got that kind of wage it seems odd to me
bale's sudden hike in wages..if true...wld be the only indicator...but as you say...summat like that is hard to keep quiet..
I dont think bale is on so much. The media just think, oh if he is staying at spurs they must have offered him a lot of money.

Bale could become one of the top players in the world and if you want to keep him you have to break your wage structure.
we have not had a top talent like him at that age for yrs
Really excited about the long term future of our club
no doubt I would pay it to him too mate
Its just we are always told about this wage cap and they were so reluctant to break it so whats changed?
we either have an investor or they've loosened up a bit and said right we need to spend a bit more to get CL again?
I really think we have not spent any money for 3 yrs and Levy could see that Harry was not the man to lead us to the title and beyond.. we have had a lof of dead wood at Tottenham for yrs and finally getting rid of them anf building a fantastic squad..
we are ripe for a takeover or its just the owners realising we have to spend big if we dont wnat to throw away 7 yrs of hard work trying to get into the top 4
now that we are no longer on the stock exchange it is trechnically possible to keep such an investment quite, especially if such discretion is of benefit to the company as is the case. However if you we were making an investment of such magnitude, surely you would want to be named?
I think that it would have to be made public one way or another.

Yea I think a few clue's like Bale's (reported) hike in wages and us coming off the stock exchange suggest its possible....I wont hold my breath though!!
Whether its a new investor or not something seems to be going on! You would have thought with the new stadium on the horizon we'd be tightening the belts rather than possibly going the other way!
Perhaps Levy see's this as a last big investment year before we undergo the financial changes which no doubt will be needed whilst we fund a new stadium?

Smegs right, we de-listed so no need to disclose.
Levys probably driving around with a boot load of Arab gold as we speak.
