Havent heard anything Tafka ....

Lovely player on the ball and over past few seasons his heart for a challenge has grew a little But as you say we have cover and ample cover for what he brings and the money could be put to good use.

Win win .....happy to see him stay , happy to see him go for the right price

Has he been seduced by the prospect of playing in a competitive league?

------------
Yeah that same seduction that saw Drogba go to China or saw Eto go to Russia...

No wait...

Has he been seduced by the prospect of playing in a competitive league? Yes. Same as McGergor, Fleck, Ortis, Whittaker, Uncle Tom Cobbley, Naismith, Davis, yon other yin, and Ness.

That's kinda my point

Tully, there is a difference.
Celtic are getting 6.5 million for Ki.
Newco won't get 10 bob for that lot.
Oh wait except for Flecky/Rooney. So they might get 10 bob.

ki's our best player

on a sunny day at celtic park against St Mirren

in all honesty I really like Ki, great footballer

I like Ki as well and to be honest this might be nothing more than story - but he has been linked to go for a while and fair play to him for what he has offered the club thus far.

If the money mentioned is right its probably good for all concerned and allows us to go scout the next talent from the Far east to bring across....

Over £6M for a sub midfielder. Bonus take it He doesn't impress all the time.

He may shine better in the EPL where there are some games that aren't 10 man defences or hacker midfielders!

He's the Korean Marc Crosas.

Too refined for the rough and tumble.

Hi, QPR fan here,

i just read on another forum that Dortmund have also bid for him but he wants to go to Spain anyway.

dont know how much, if any of this is true.

dyou reakon he could be a good PL player should we sign him?

posted on 5/7/12

He's Celtics most taleted CM..but he needs to toughen up...build up his body strength

hoops..Yeah would be a quality signing

Don't rate Ki at all to be honest, might pass the ball well but its usually 40 yard cross field passes and not defence splitting through balls. He shirks away from a challenge, is posted missing even in games we are dominating, constantly tries 30 yard glory goals instead of a simple defence splitting pass (which its supposedly a speciality trait of his) he's slow, always wants too much tune on the ball which slows us down and stops fast breaks dead. Get rid, even if its for the 2 mil we paid for him.

Were loaded with centre mids and they are all better than Ki

seems to be a difference of opinion, we all see things differently i guess.

whats the price tag guys, anyone know?

ooops, sorry. just read 6.5 mil at the top of the thread.

anyways, could all be academic IF he wants to go to Spain.

couldnt blame him, the weathers much nicer.

Good business. No need to keep him and don't want to risk the clubs future chasing Europe.

I think Ki is underrated by a lot of our support

He is probably one of our best players when he gets a run of games going. Best passer of the ball on the team and can shoot from distance. Hes improved his physical game as well. But i dont think he could flourish playing along side a guy like Kayal. They both like to sit back but for different reasons. Kayal is there for breaking up play, and Ki is sat back to try and dictate the pace of the game. Hope he stays. But if he goes, i think he will soon be signed by a top club in the premier league
