Greetings Mr Wrexham , Hope all is well in sunny Wales.
Was beginning to feel a bit depressed but the signing of Shackell has lifted my optimism . The other 2 are ( I assume) ones for the future. We still need a good hard midfielder and another striker ( Vokes ? ) then I think we might be competitive. Its going to be an interesting season for sure.
Trust me when I say you have a very, very good player in Jason Shackell.
There is not a single Derby fan who wanted him to leave. One of our best players without a doubt and you've got him for a fraction of what he's worth. Don't have a clue how you did it, or why he left Derby.
If JS was playing in the Prem, which I fully believe he will, you'd have had to pay at least £5m for him.
Matt Mills was sold by Leicester this week for £3.5m and Shackell is a class above him at least.
Derby fans very
Thanks for the glowing report. Good luck for the season. At least you have an easy 6 points from Blackburn.
Things in sunny wales are good thanks, hope all is well with you?
Agree completely, think Vokes would be a good addition. From what the Derby fans are saying, sounds like Shackell was a bargain. Went on the LET website this morning, poster on there, goes by the name of Bluegoose. Think it may be Steve Kean. Talks a load of carp, and thinks Rovers are going places. Sad really isn't it UTC
Donny Fan here. Stocky can turn a game it is true, but he has had a lot of injuries under O'Driscoll, however so did most of our players with not so good medical treatment, but if he goes to you he is a good player, Problem is that his wife (partner ) and family are settled here BUT then again his mother passed away in May so, young children of primary age can develope new friends. Who knows but good luck this year.
Is it still Burnley wakes?
Wakes Weeks are a Greater Manchester thing. The annual holidays in Burnley are known as `Burnley Fair`. Thank you for your interest.
