I heard that one this afternoon but I find it hard to believe but if its true would not mind him back

Seems a bit far fetched doesn't it.

It does because there has not been any news of it on sky sports or even lcfc web site

why does your source say so chorley

posted on 6/7/12

This is the same chorleywhite who broke news to us of a take over then 24 hours later made an article saying sorry to disappoint. Take what he says with a pinch of salt, he is a Wednesday fan! Oh and a pleb!

25th may you wrote an article telling the 606 crew that there was something major happening.

Not long later you posted this:

Add that to your prior proclivities with being a wum, you can see why my disdain for your cyber persona exists.

not respected by the fans
...................................................

Paynter, the phrase used was "not appreciated by the fans". My recollection is that the player never put in a transfer request, he was listed by the club when he refused to sign a new deal which offered no money, just an extended contract. Rightly, he stayed till the end of the season, got us promoted, and left with the club's blessing. Why does that make him selfish, arrogant, or useless? He averaged almost 30 goals a season. I wouldn't criticise him for not wanting to come back when it's clearly the lack of respect came from higher management to blame for peeing him off.

his attitude was poor, shown by the fact he once threw his shirt at grayson, he moaned at the rest of the team, i'm not saying he wasn't important just had a bad attitude

Anyone who had a season ticket in his last season with us could see his attitude problem. Eventually dropped. I think people also forget the whole team played 442 and to his strengths. He was brilliant on his day.

But, we need to focus more on packing our midfield with 3. That means 3 upfront - 2 wide lads and one striker - Who will need to hold up a bit. Beckford can't do this.

Would be great to get Mackie or Cox.

If a goal scorer can unsettle the changing room then ok, but if the changing room turns negative then is it worth it?..

I'd say the sulks would do more harm then good, but you never know, maybe Warnock can work on that!..

Yes yes yes.

Along with being arrogant selfish and useless. Tell me, what striker, what player worth his salt doesn't mind being subbed? Even when they're having little or no impact on the proceedings they have to believe they can turn things round, and sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. That's football.

Didn't he apologise for that incident at home to Saints anyway, which we ended up winning 1-0?

I'm sure you're right SKB. He wanted parity I believe with Robinson, who was far too busy boosting pie shop sales to be bothered about football.

If he walked into ER tomorrow and offered his services he'd be snapped up...! And we'd all applaud...?

Surly little bleeder but a fine goalscorer.

if someone comitted a serious crime but then apologised would they be let off! NO!
the point is Beckford gets hero worship at Elland Road despite a poor attitude towards the game
