"Let’s just say come Xmas you are sitting in 11th place would you be happy to let him finish the season as coach and continue to the following season?"
Some would, some wouldn't.

Course not. But that won't happen. Not even the scousers were that bad and we are miles ahead of them
He'd have probably fallen out with a few by then too

RdM ?? Where did all the Terry/Lampard go ??
Got to go against Tottenham tradition and give the guy a chance.

IF this is a serious question, I will answer in a serious manner.
If that scenario was to pan out, I for one would be very frustrated purely because of the highs we have experienced in recent years, and the way we've gone about getting early signings in, this would be a huge anti climax.
HOWEVER, looking at it now, I would like to think we'd keep the manager on as it may take a season for players to change to a new style and come to complete terms with it. If we did languish in mid table mediocrity this season, I would fully expect us to pick up the following season and push for a champs league place once the new system has had a chance to bed in

It’s a 100% serious question, and that was really my point, would you allow him time for a new system to work.
Personally I thought he was way out of his depth at Chelsea and didn’t want him there from the start. If he does well for you lot then fair play .I just can’t see it

Every Chelsea manager in the past 10 years has been given the sack by Abramovich, regardless of how well he has done, so no real case for saying ABV was out of his depth, he just went the way of all the others, as will RDM in due course.
The thing is will they give him time,Spurs managers over the last fifteen years average about eighteen months, not time to get a new approach going, time will tell.
