Kagawa is average, he's only been bought to keep sales in Asia up.

I would say yes Hazard is by far the much better player on the pitch but united have been very clever buying kagawa, they know his skills and advantages they will gain by playing him and they can use that shirt sale money to invest for the future.

Hmm, a discussion about how good players will be in a league that they have yet to play in, by people who have barely seen either play.

Why not just wait and see, rather than blindly backing either?

Kagawa is in the Shortlist for Ballon D'or.

Hate people that say a player is just for shirt sales

Yes, that can help but the guy is a very good footballer, as was Park.

The guy was amazing in the German league!

Hazard probably is more talented, but Kagawa has a great attitude and in the long term will be the bigger success in the PL IMO.

Was Hazard? (I am not saying that Hazard is crap, they are on the same level IMO.)

The Ballon D'Or is just a joke anyway, watch Messi win it again this year even though Ronaldo should be winning it easy

73 goals not enough to win it?

I don't know I don't know whos on the list

They had to be seen as fair though to all continents

Kagawa won Player of the Year in Germany, ahead of the likes of Gomez, RIbery, Robben ect.

He is certainly not average, we have have to wait and see how they adapt. Though, Hazard has the obvious potential, is currently nothing more than that and Chelsea don't have a great record in terms of developing players.

Its clever by united they can use the shirt sale money to replace scholes

Which players from Oceania are in it?

How good they were at their respected clubs is one thing but how good or will they be interms of their styles playing in the PL is another.

Last season Kagawa won player of the season in a very strong Bundesliga - a league not too disimular to our own. Gut feeling is, Hazard will start very strong but Kagawa will sustain a higher level of football for a longer period of time!

Kagawa only won it ahead of those players as it is the first time Germany have had the chance to show there is equality in their country to all nations.

Tbf anyone who can sell that many shirts should really be considered for Ballon D'Or.

It's a surprise Fifa haven't got him on the front of every game next year.
