He has never seen anything like our training facilities in his lifetime.
-----------
The same facilities that Gwyn Williams said at an on the road event a year ago or so were no longer fit for purpose?

I feel Warnock talks a lot of talk to butter up the fans.

"Kenny is the best signing I'll make here"

How ridiculous is that statement alone!!

Our main target

Heaven help us, Kenny is a good keeper don't get me wrong, but if we cant match his quality in outfield posisitions.........

How am I angry forever - quite chillaxed as it goes - keep buying and getting linked with donkeys and that may soon change. I am not liking Warnocks transfers at the moment - think we all know what sort of football will be on show at ER next season - but it worked for WestHam i suppose!

We only see it as Warnock buying a keeper, there will be more to it in his mind.

Warnock is putting together a team for a tilt at promotion this season, he's only got a short contract himself. In Warnock's eyes Kenny is a tried and trusted addition. He's probably one of those that rallies a dressing room. Most of his buys / acquisitions will be people he rates (it's called team building)

Only he's looking at it as a task to complete in one go.

If Warnock, with his short term contract, gets us promoted this season, he'll not worry too much about the future of LUFC but will probably be interested.

I am more pleased thast we have not lost Snoddy at this moment in time, let's hope he's doing right by that lad and that he stays.

Overall our squad, with some more additions, is going to have a good mixture of youth and experience and if/when this takeover goes through hopefully he'll get extra funds to build with.

On a related point, I am not as knowledgeable of the ins and outs of buying a football club (unlike those who have celebrity agents as huge friends) but if it's owt like selling a house, which I have just done, the place is put up for sale, the advert attracts the buyers, one or more decide to have a go at the bait.then the negotiations take place, they try and outbid each other leaving one standing, then the agreement, then the exchange of contracts and about a month later the competion where the money gets put over. That is the day the seller goes.

Let's hope this sale goes through smoothly eh..?

Sensible points but this is Leeds United Eric and we've been fed enough **** to be knee deep in mushrooms for years to come.

Warnock has changed his outlook (through his statements) considerably in a relatively short space of time.

Naming Kenny as his most important signing isn't in itself a bad thing but when you look at the other names in the frame (speculation I grant you but apart from Drury the other signings were publicly being courted) I'm not convinced it's a team that will compete.

I'm not a football manager, although I did guide Rotherham to promotion on FM, just a humble fan who wants the best for our club. Players of the calibre of Gray, Varney and then Brown if he re-signs do not fill me with much hope.

In forty plus years of following the Mighty Whites I cannot recall similar players in terms of experience and ability making a positive impact on the team.

But if (as reported in Mail) Mackail Smith gets signed, what do you think Warnock might say then...? Would he rate that a better signing...?

My opinion is - we can only wait and see, can't we? That's all.
