I remember back to the 9 in a row years and if Rangers didn't qualify for the champions league then it felt like the season was finished in August.

If celtic dont get into the CL then it will be a long long boring season for their fans

Only Atletico beat us in the europa group stage last term, and they went on to win it, we need a few CB's and a targetman goalscorer, but as we won't buy before we sell it seems doubtful we'll get what we need.

The Sion situation helped us last season, now we need to do well for two reason keep the fans interested and finacialy help us for the following season.

tbh its all the players have to keep them going this season,a lot of effort will be focus on euros when you are in a one horse spl.think you will do fine imo.

The other factor is that the players attitude will suffer if they dont make the CL. pretty sure there would be a queue at the managers door if they dont make it and their agent is dangling a move.

Thinking about the likes of Kayal here.

Celtic are a Europa lge team, CL would be nice but we are better equipped for the 2nd tier of European fitba at the minute,.

Stokes won't miss them cos he was always on the bench!

We should win the league, but cup games can throw up surprises.
