Hector, it wasn't actually that great a game. We scored with our first attack, they had a couple of decent chances, we were much the better for the rest of the half, then were poor for the majority of the second half before scoring two late goals to seal the win. All the goals were scored by Jon Daly.
Despite them having significant pressure they didn't force a real save out of our keeper in the second half.
Not the greatest of game given it's pre-season still but a fine occassion and a full house to boot. Just what the SPL needs next season.
It's been a while, glad you enjoyed it.
I only enjoyed it because we won
what was the score??? Ding dong Dundee derby?
3-0 the Terrors. Jon Daly hattrick.
Best target man in the SPL
Heard it was quite cheap for tickets and a sell out
£12 for adults, £6 concession. United sold our 4,100 allocation, they sold out their end too. Gates were shared as well with the proceeds going to each teams youth system.
United are playing Everton on Wednesday and it's £10 on the gate I believe. Great value.
Early door bragging rights.
I went looking on youtube for highlights and came across this gem...

If this is what we have to look forward too...Bring it on!
Some great old faces, silky skills and Bomber doing what Bomber does...
I've already had Dundee supporting mates telling me it was "only a friendly and doesn't matter"
Aye right
The atmosphere at the game was amazing, maybe all the doomsday brigade should have headed along to the game, lets try and start promoting other aspects of the scottish game 10,121 and a cup game atmosphere at a pre-season friendly. How could anybody who was a dens park yesterday possibly think our game was on its knees We want dundee up, we want dundee up
