Never ever thought I would say this but am chuffed to rocks with that. He is a great lad and is in some really good form.
He has surrounded by excellent batsmen right down the list so that should help him to relax and show us what he can do.
It's our time.
Yes he's earned this return to tests, let's hope he can make as good use of it as Ian Bell was able to. Number 6 is the best place to grow into the team.
I have no problem with him being selected on his current form. The hard work does not stop here. I won't be impressed if he throws his wicket away with the classical Bopara brain fade.
I have nothing against Bopara, but I think he success highlights how poor the Australian bowling was as opposed to Bopare actually being a batsman who is of test standard.
We will certainly find out soon Duncan. Have to admit though, when I see Australia bowl, it even has me reaching for my old Grey Nichols. What a bunch of donkeys.
"my old Grey Nichols".

Is that a euphemism for your todger?

No, I think he lost it in the war, Gulf War Syndrome or something.
Bopara will be just fine. Anyone seen the Kent openers slapping Steyn, Morkel and Kallis all over the ground today. 105-0 off 22 overs
Can't wait to cement our position as the best team in the world. I have had to wait decades and decades to enjoy this kind of domination and it has arrived.
I love KPs tattoo
SA will smash England and take back whats ours, Number 1 spot.
England are much better than Kent. You have gathered that much?
WHITEWASH
Funny that Hope uses,Bell in hus point about Bopara.
I feel both are very similar in their batting careers. Both hugely talented youngsters who excelled in the CC and also promised for England before extremely bad spells.
Bell came back in for England and cemented his place around 27 or 28.
Now Bopara can do the same. Some players mature and gain confidence. I feel this is make or break for Bopara and the last 6 months has been the making of yim.
I'm not sure that Bopara is as stable a character as Ian Bell but he's surrounded by Essex and ex Essex people to help him. What more could you want.

are indian fans just confused about why bopara hasn't played more test cricket as they would love to have someone who can bowl at his pace ?
