lord juke - when you get your own olympic medal you can try to claim it for scotland. the guys who have won today have done so as proud members of team GB
I know its a gb medal, I wasn't point scoring
Just saying it's a hell of an achievement for Scotland and an inspiration for younger Scots to train hard, achieve your goals and not go down the wayward route of drugs alcohol and crime
I know its a gb medal, I wasn't point scoring

I wouldnt have dcommented further but for the facepalm.
The first part of your comment appeared to be point scoring, and your fallicious reference to Scotland as a "nation" appeared to confirm it.
I agree though that the guy is immensily talented and GB, Scotland and his home town can all be immensly proud of the achievements of himself and those who have been responsible for his development.
kromowidjojo, glad i do not have to commentate
Scotland is a nation, what's your problem
Scotland is a nation, what's your problem

Not in the Olympics fella
Scotland is a nation, what's your problem

Scotland isnt a nation, but if you didnt know that then it takes away some of the evidence which made me think you were on the wum. On that basis, I agree that we should drop the issue.
Never said it was, just said it was a proud performance from and achievement for a Scotsman considering or small population. I wasn't undermining GB at all, you can be both Scottish and british and that's the way it should be.
I hardly think you'd be moaning if I said Manchester, Yorkshire or London instead of Scotland. You lot need to chill
I wonder if that lad regrets not taking it out harder when he looks back on the race. Im sure he pushed himself fkn hard, but he clearly had even left more in him at the finish.
jukebox, you never said Manchester, Yorkshire or London, did you? You said Scotland and lay off the Tennents, it's still early
So it would be alright if I'd said any of those but not Scotland. What's your beef?
Get a grip mate
that's the first time ive been properly gutted this olympics. briliant swim, but he could have got gold and become a legend.
jukebox, it's GB at the Olympics, end of, not Scotland, oh by the way i'm Welsh, you need to grow mate
I was really gutted about or men not getting the silver gymnastics medal but it was the right decision in the end (apparently,I know feck all about gymnastics to have a valid opinion on the jàp's dismount )
Hopefully we'll get a few more before the games ate done
Hmm, Glover scrubs up quite well.
yeah that was dissapointing, but i reckon theyll just look back on that as an amazing achievement, and knowing that they perofrmed to the absoloute best of their ability.
in spite of jamieson's incredible swim, and achievement of the silver medal, i think he will always know that he was capable of getting the gold (and the world record).
So I can't be proud of the fact he's Scottish just because he's representing Britain
I'm proud to be british, its your intolerant attitude that has many Scots wanting independence. I'm not one of , I'm them proud to be both Scottish and british
They didn't look this good winning Gold earlier
Aye jpb, only he knows I suppose, hope it doesn't eat him up inside
he looks happy enough now anyway. good for him.
Helen Glover looks quite bang tidy.
he may be a bit on the cmap side, but thorpe says some very interesting stuff now he's chilled out.
