Yep brilliant clip, the womens game has improved alot since then but their are still some comical moments.
Here's the clip:

You can't blame them.
i was actually amazed watching a bit of a game the other day (i think at half time during the england v brazil game ?), and seeing how good it was.
as you say, if that was typical (or anything like it) then it has clearly improved out of sight since that game from a few years back.
The second goal in that clip. That goes in once in a million attempts.
would it be better if they played in skirts?
I gotta say im with Sepp on this one
it's the keeper on that goal that makes me
That second goal is surely the most comical goal ever. The sliced clearance, the air shot, the looping attempt and the useless goalkeeper. The stuff of legends.
Back in 2012, good save.
Serious question, who would win? A decent Sunday league team or England's full national Womens team?
It's kind of strange to hear commentators going on about how warm it is... in Wales.
Don't call me a numpty Sir C please. I intend to have my rant on this topic.
In all seriousness, I lost all interest in 'London 2012 Olympics' when they first unveiled that ugly logo. IMO things have only got worse since with the silly ticket allocation process, security farce and then additional things like train strikes. Thank goodness I don't live anywhere near London, must be like hell down there for the next month, I would want to leave.
Don't get me wrong I really do enjoy the Olympics when it comes around but I just think some things have been so badly organised/ thought out that I just can't be bothered with the majority of it. They say that it's something that the British public should be proud of. Well as one member of that great British public I feel anything but proud of it.
I saw the torch when it came to my hometown, I may or may not join the majority of the planet in watching the live opening ceremony if I'm not remotely busy and I will watch the world's fastest man run and that will be as much time as I'm willing to spend on this year's event. Unfortunately for me I'm going to have to put up with 'Olympics this, Olympics that' as there will be no escape from it from all forms of media even stuff that's not remotely sport related which is really doing my head in and it hasn't even started yet.
Rant over.
To answer the questions:

the end of 'London 2012 Olympics', roll on the new football season!
Gymnastics always fascinates me, I would love to be able to do one somersault never mind a triple spinning backflip
Although I'm not interested, all the best to team GB.
Technically the women would be better in my opinion. Depends on how some of them would cope with a team of 6'0+ blokes kicking them 5 foot in the air.
The goalie kissed the post
how many Arsenal girls in this team?

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
It's weird that the womens team have the same kind of problems as the mens team. A star player who the team is built around who is fairly quiet. One footed players. A left winger with alot of pace and no end product. And judging by the finishing of the one girl, Heskey incarnate.
The great thing about football is that if you get bored of one match, there'll be another one on soon. Other games today are:
17:00 USA vs France
17:00 Japan vs Canada
18:45 Cameroon vs Brazil
19:45 Sweden vs South Africa
19:45 Colombia vs North Korea
Might switch to USA game at half-time.
