levy is some sort of GENIUS mugging city off we will buy Ade but you pay his wages

If Moutinho is coming, then Madrid have agreed to the Levy tax on Modric. If they think they can try and stretch this out to September : Chelsky

Modric himself would be well-advised for his own sake to inform them of how the Darth one operates (otherwise he has another season at Spurs ) .

Even in the world of the superior Spurs Sith, this goes beyond credibility. They want rid to get him OFF the wage bill, not to keep paying.

They might aswell pay his transfer fee aswell

Whats the story with Moutinho mate? I see you say in the article its unlikely? I thought we were gonna go for him?

Porto want £30M+ & Levy wouldn't pay tht kind of money for him. I hope something is sorted out because it will be an amazing signing!

If it is gonna happen, think of residential property chains.
The Modric deal will have to complete first.
So while they faff on the inevitability of the Levy tax, Modric better learn to smile when in the new Spurs kit promo piccies.

If the rumoured 110K is true, then 70K Spurs + 40K <Citeh> is just about bearable I guess.

RBDB

I heard that we would make a hefty donation to his African Foundation , pay him a lot less and City would chip in with 20k a week but who knows which rumours are true

I actually agree with a lot of what you say but the last bit applies to all fans not just us

redrob :

Siggy has never been on 170K/week.
Nor on (an alleged reduced) 110K/week.

So all talk of his comparitively meagre wages are moot.

OTOH given the Spurs finances, tis important to know how Adebayors' wages are being financed (good or bad) .

Chelsea have far to much money & they are buying some awesome players!! 100% top four with City & Utd.

They were 100% sure of top four last season and came sixth if you remember. Awesome players on paper may not be quite so awesome once they step onto the pitch in England, seen it time and time again, so called superstars flop big-time.

Wrong, most of us thought we would struggle for 4th and win feck all. Most of us did not want Carlo sacked, most of us realised that the failure to sign Modric was a mnassive blow.
