Rangers? Who?

rangers punishment was the club being dissolved. not sure if it were possible to punish a club any further than the point of liquidation.

but then i wouldn't expect you to see this being such a bitter cant

You aren't allowed to say Rangers are;

a. a new club

b. liquidated (to be)

c. the architects of their own downfall.

'it wiz awe wan man, know? we nevvur kent. we just lapped it awe up n'at, know?'

At no point did I make any reference that has anything to do with hate.

All I said was was that I am getting sick of this "we have been wronged" attitude. The only clubs wronged were the non league clubs.

And you need to take up your grievance with the boards of the SPL, SFA both have CFC representatives and SFL, plus member chairmen who make these decisions.
At least be honest about it. You care not a jot about the teams that lost out, just as the CFC
representatives don't!

its a great attitude to have, getting the same treatment as the other clubs would is seen as punishment.

Fair play is punishment, as is no being allowed to cut corners

Keny - thats all rangers fans want, to be treated as any other club would be in this situation.

not for them to try and railroad us into Div 1 for the financial gains of the SPL nor to sanction an illegal transfer embargo or threaten us with a 5 yr Euro ban. play it by the rule book and stop making it up as you go, its simple really

We would have been wronged if we were put into the first division.

We werent, so we've got what we wanted.

Fook me, there's no pleasing some kants is there!

Ye cannie give a corpse a jail sentence ya clown!!

They is no European ban

Why was it wrong to rail road you into div 1 but ok to rail road you into div 3 ahead of all the non league clubs with 3 years of audits.

As for the Illegal transfer embargo, how does a club that says it can only pay 5 p in the pound find money to pay players that other clubs in the SPL can't afford.

Airdrie, Gretna and Rangers which one of these clubs had the rules re-written.

like all sets of fans, opinions differ. There are those that feel this way and mccoist has said it himself.

Had to be 3rd div but didnt think it would be tbh. The spl chairmen have a cheek on them having a go at the sfl clubs

celtic fans don't want the punishments to end because it gives them a huge advantage, i can understand that but to make out its sporting integrity is just gut wrenching, there were no rules in place for a newco, it gets made up as we go along so to suggest that the rules favour rangers is wrong

Baffles me curly, all this "we dont need the old firm" but the cant cope with one gone never mind two.

These clubs have been equally badly managed.

If your a newco in the 3rd div there should be no additional punishment imo. How can there be the new company havent broken any rules.

posted on 16/7/12

The newco should not face any sanctions at all. It would be ridiculous.
