To anywhere, it makes no difference. It would be epic.
I'd love to travel Route 66 in an old Chevy with Cantona telling me the secrets of life and the universe.
Plus he'd be the ultimate wing man.
I just think it would be awkard with some players - they tend to just put their earphones in and tweet on their phones. Id drive someone like Jimmy Bullard that would probably be quite entertaining
On a road trip with Balotelli would be interesting if not potentially dangerous.
scholes so we could sit there in silence
Howard Webb to Manchester United.
Oh wait...
funrob - that combination sets the standard by which all suggestions on this thread will be judged.
Go on a long road trip with Nicolas Anelka.
Id quite happily drive any United fan myself, (who uses the phrase "I'd drive him there myself" about United players) to the Ethiad Stadium where I am sure they would find what they are looking to support, much more readily that they would at Old Trafford.

......
I really hope this wasn't an attempt at comedy.
Also I invite suggestions for the nightmare football travelling companion.
I reckon I'd drive off Beachy Head if I had Alan Shearer in the car. Put Mark Lawrenson, Andy Townsend and Garth Crooks on the back seat and I'd be doing a great service to sports broadcasting in this country, as well as putting an end to my existential despair.

I fear it was.

Well if you were actually driving Ashley Young yourself to another club, (which is where this thread leads from) he would probably be your worst nightmare traveling companion. Mr Engaging Personality, he isn't
Since Cantona has already driven off with funrob, I'm plucking for Solskjaer. I reckon he'd be good company, though it would probably be good clean fun - eating at Harvesters, no more than a couple of beers in the evening, popping into the little local history museums and reading all the captions...
a drive around London with John Terry would be funny
A relief for all the husbands out there too Mr C
The worst companion would be Tevez in a Skoda going to Las Vegas.
Just as you saw the bright lights ahead on the horizon and got your hopes up, he'd suddenly do a U-Turn and drive home to Argentina to see his kids.
funrob for someone who was desperate to see his kids he spent a lot of time with his wood out n the golf course

His kids are his caddies!
Mr Chelsea, out of interest, do you actually think Terry would be someone you'd like to hang out with? I'd have thought a lot of Chelsea fans would see him in a similar light to the way I wrote about Keane in the OP.
Imagine being in the back of Tevez's car looking for a decent restaurant in Manchester.
