Why are peeps getting excited, noname youngster comes in once again and a worldclass player leaves us. Sorry to be a killjoy but we are being ripped off bigtime.

Better than a world class polayer leaving us and no one coming in. Should we just sit and mourn for the rest of our lives since RVP is leaving us???

Anyway still not confirmed that Niang is joining us. Lets hope he does though

Why does someone leaving mean we shouldn't be happy about us signing a potentially brilliant striker? Is that a bad thing now?

Podolski and Giroud do exist...

Potential, thats all we keep hearing about tho. We want established players that can make us a force again. Its actually a worrying sign that some of you are actually upbeat about this.

As for Giroud, has an impressive record in a poor league, its 50/50 hw he's gna turn out. Iam worried for our beloved club.

Umm still don't understand why we would be unhappy about signing a promising youngster? What utter BS

Are you slow or something!. This is Wengers policy and part of the reason rvp is leaving. Because of this type of signing, i doubt hel even feature in the carling cup. 9 mill rumoured for him. Club is a jke.

You do realise RVP was a young, relatively unknown player, who we signed. Was it a bad thing we lost RVP? I still don't get why this is a bad thing.

Should be not have signed the Ox, Koscielny or Gibbs (just three of many) because you didn't know who they were? He's 17, who cares if he doesn't feature in the Captial One cup? Fabregas was 16 when he joined us, was he a mistake too?

Ox has had a few quality games but i wouldn't want him starting week in week out just yet. I am just saying that a club with our status should at least be attracting some of the worlds best at this time. Our club is a laughing stock at the moment, papers consistently linking players away, our OWN player spelling it out to the board that there philosophy is aload of bs and wants out.

The Ox isn't starting every game, so I'm confused why your saying that. Niang won't be starting any games I wouldn't have though.

And yes, maybe it should, but what players are these? Can you name a player you think we should sign?

When rvp was signed we were the best club in England , we had established stars, we had winners and we could give players like rvp the time to progress. Now times have changed, we are letting our stars leave so the likes of Ox are expected to fill in when its way to early, they lack experience and thats whats been costing us.

Soz im using ps3 and its delaying my responses. Apologies.

You haven't answered my question.

And in what way are we letting our stars leave? We are not letting anyone leave. They are refusing to stay.

And why is it too early for the Ox? Fabregas started at 16, that was awful wasn't it? Wilshere started at 17, and that has been a complete train wreck hasn't it? Arteta, Koscienly, Sanga, some of our best players last season, weren't massive players when we signed them.

Why is it imperative that they have a big price tag to be a good player?

This is not a wum attempt, but if Arsenal continue to sign promising young talent, develop them a few stages and then sell them are they not in danger of becoming the Crewe Alexandra of the PL?

powerkinghenry, it's clearly "that time" in the the month for you. We have already signed replacements, Podolski and Giroud. So Niang would be an addition, not a replacement. My last response to your tortured idiocy.
