What is wrong with jenas? Last choice cm and won't kick up a fuss. Not on big wages. Good ambassador for the club. Decent premier league standard midfielder and no one better than him would be happy with fifth choice with out kicking up a fuss.

Fed up of our fan base constantly on his back when the truth is that he has never let us down. He is a limited player but neither he nor anyone else claims he is a world beater. Give the guy a break

Is that the type of player that will take your club forward though?

Who is saying he is?

Since when does your fifth choice central midfielder need to be a superstar?

Not saying he needs to be but can you possibly improve while still keeping the wage bill down? Most probably. I dont see whats wrong in moving along dead wood. My own club should learn to do it more often.

I don't know where 5th choice comes from.

Modric (or replacement)
Sandro
Parker
Hudd
Livermore
Siggurdson (spelling?)
VDV if needed
Carroll
9) Jenas

Would you rather middle of the road players like Bentley and Jenas stuck around and potentially hindered the development of our youth players, purely on the fact that people know their names?? These wasters have had their chance and weren't good enough, move them on.

chronic while i agree that he doesn't kick up a fuss i also have to ask is he resigned to just collecting a paycheck for doing nothing? if he was to regularly challenge those ahead of him he would be useful as that would force those above him in the pecking order to "up" their game. but he hasn't the ability nor the desire it seems to do so

bob.

i dont think he is one that picks up his paycheck for doing nothing.... he seems to me to be a hard worker, and happy to play when called upon.. he went to villa last year in search of football, which he wouldnt have done if he was another winston bogarde.

he unfortunately got injured...

i am not jenas's biggest fan, i just think that the way some of our fanbase (more at the ground than on here) are an absolute disgrace in their treatment of the guy.

Chronic, i'll agree that while a player wears the shirt we must support him. i just hope he wears another shirt come this season. but while he wears the white i won't slate him.....much
