Would be happier with SoD than Hoddle, knows the league and the club. Would be a fantastic acquisition

I think that would appease alot of fans. I feel sorry for the owners, your damned if you so our damned if you don't. SOD would spread the butter across all of the toast.

Wonder if he'll bring in Cotterill as his No.2?

That way, they wouldn't have to give SC compensation. Job done. Nothing lost, alot gained!

Together they were doing really well at the end of the season

Might as well have kept SC and offered loads of cash to SoD to come back as coach/asst manager if they are going to do this.

Yep I'd be happy with SoD.
Steve as his no 2. why not

This is fast becoming a joke. We're just regurgitating the same list we went through when we appointed Cotterill. Why bother sacking him if the new owners didn't have a plan. It's sounding more and more like they're skint if this is their fall back plan. Neil Warnock was their preferred choice pre take-over, and then Mcarthy, then Hoddle........... it doesn't look good.

Looks great. Specially if we get him.

The whole selection process is taking it's time because the owners want to make sure they get the right man! For me, them taking their time on selecting a manager is a fooking great sign!!

Sorry. Who's turned us down?

We haven't offered the job to anyone.

Now there is talk of having SoD as manager and Hoddle as Director of Football. Don't know how reliable this paper is.

You guys are a little delusional. Look at the big picture, our owners make a grand entrance promising an iconic manager, draw up and exhaust a short-list of freebie has-beens before resorting to call our old assistant manager who was last sacked by Doncaster in for an interview. Trust me, to everyone outside of Nottingham, it doesn't look good. I live in London and I'm getting a lot of stick right now. I can't help but feel that one of the al hasawi's is sitting on twitter, waiting for a name to pop up, before getting on the phone. It feels that random.

Who do you want as manager Mr Darkly.
For me SoD will do very nicely.
It's not about what in the papers. Its about how it make feel when I read it.
I FEEL GOOD! I knew that I would! I feel nice like sugar and spice.
