Interesting to hear Tiger Woods talking about some of the rough being 'unplayable'. I prefer the links course to the manicured courses - really challenges the players.
I'd like Lee Westwood to finally break his duck, but there have been so many different winners lately I haven't got a clue who will win. Just looking forward to
watching it
Should be a great watch. There is nothing better than the Open. I have gone for Kaymer at 45/1. Hope he does well and wins!
i hes no fluckin about here
Ive gone Zach Johnson and Lee Westwood, if he brings his short game, great chance
Kaymer is playing poorly. I picked him.
Ghod, great shout with Lawrie and Mcdowell has a great chance.
ive backed
harrington
lawrie
zach johnson
colsaerts
Conditions are meant to deteriorate throughout the week. In theory, today should be the best day for scoring.
7 under at the Mo proves that point, I want to see them suffer, come on you wind and rain
I know igor
I loved it at Birkdale a few years ago when the whole field was over par.
Oh dear. Lee Weswood has taken himself out of the equasion in the first round, yet again.
i also backed George Coetzee each way

Whats happened Vidichin?
................
Last I looked he was two over.
That is him out of the equasion.
Could do with a few more people on here...
Kaymer now +9 Really disappointing.
They've stopped showing Sergio
Sergio's never gonna win a major at this rate
Well of the bigger names, Kaymer, Garcia and Rose all out. Mickelson a disaster and Clarke also poor. I think the weather stays good on Saturday and then it gets a bit more dicey on Sunday - the course has been as easy as it can get over the first 2 days, yet still some pretty disappointing scores out there.
Anyone have any tips for me to pick at the Weekend now Kaymer is out? Preferably someone capable of shooting a low score tomorrow in the Warm conditions and could hack it in the wet weather on Sunday. I was thinking about Oosthuizen but not sure. Good price as well.
