Looks that way. Underwhelmed If I'm honest.

But plays good football and could do a good job.

I'd be delighted if it was O'Driscoll. Knows young players, bring on the academy knows lower league talent and has an eye for a player. Will bring back back Ged, plays football on the ground and will build us up gradually for a sustainable promotion in 2 years! Forget no marks like Sven, Hoddle, MM!! This will be a superb appointment if it happens. Funny what must Cotterill think ha-ha! Hung a noose for his own neck when he hired his far superior buddy!!

Sutton - I'm amazing that you're not ranting. Surely this is MA advising the owners, they'll now go and get Pep, same old tactics.

I'd think it's more likely to be Clark advising the owners if anyone is

Whats your problem with SOD? Most people attribute our upward form after our 15 game unscoring streak to his arrival, it was hardly a coincidence. Very popular with the players. Most people would have been delighted if we'd promoted him to full manager and told cotterill to sling his hook. There's not too many suitable applicants out there who come with as good a rep as he does for playing football the right way, not hoofball merchants like MM

To be honest we've had big name managers in the past and not many have succeeded despite their reputations. If SOD is appointed he would get my full backing and I would hope every Tricky would be the same.

I'm looking forward to the announcement, think I'll make myself a nice cup of tea in anticipation.

Surely you could have had SOD before Sheik ya Booty fetched his harem of second rate players over....How can even the most optimistic of you not fail to be underwhelmed?? More Blackburn than Man City methinks.....

"Whats your problem with SOD?"

Nothing at all in fact I wanted him to take charge before Cotterill took over. That was at a time when we weren't spending and he was out of work. Now we sign him after getting rid of someone of an equal profile, after the bloke had been working here and after he's just signed a contract with someone else.

Underwhelmed sums it up. Horses for courses and all that, I thought he was a perfect horse for us last season, not now.

I would agree SOD is indeed a very good Manager but an Iconic figure......mmmmm just shows you've inherited the camel equivalents of KFC(Blackburn)they are failing to produce already and that's why nobody wants the job....except Sven.

Why does saying prove make me a plank? We've so far had articles saying, it's Mick, it's Glenn, and now, it's Sean. The article claimed it as a fact, where's the proof?

Anyway, I would be underwhelmed but not unhappy with Sean. I don't know enough about him. I don't know how much I believe that he was our sole saviour last season as I think it had much more to do with the players that came in. Anyway, hey ho, if it's him it's him.
