He has huge potential but he needs to grow up

Did you not see his penalty? what a div

He has a lot of talent, but atm is no where near Messi or Ronadlo, as Pele makes it out to be. He needs to come to Europe if he wants to be big.

Don't know why it's taken you this long to establish this.

Hizmo is banned again...phakt!

You can't really base it on one friendly, unless you watch a lot of the Brazilian league of course and have assessed him over a longer period of time. If he wants to be considered one of the best he does have to mix it with the best however, that means moving to Europe.

Admin 2. The most surprising thing about that is that you bothered going through the formalities of unbanning before rebanning. And of course the fackt that you don't know how to spell phackt

What surprises me is people actually care.

I think he is fantastic... Shame about the theatrics, but that is part of the game over there.

Neymar has talent but nowhere near the elite in Europe. Not even close.

He needs to develop. Lucas showed class. Ganso has silky touches (shame he is so slow and injury-prone).

Butland seems a talent.

Oscar looks worryingly good.... Great buy for Chelsea, if true

Its part of the game over in Manchester too Jim Sung. Just ask Ashley Young and Wayne Rooney. Or past great such as Ronaldo.

Neymar has extraordinary talent, just needs to sort his attitude out.

When did he sign for Chelsea?

I've never been a massive fan, but Neymar did look very good tonight, it must be said.

He's always had the excellent footwork, but he seems to have added pace, discipline, and spatial awareness to his game if this match is anything to go by.

Lucas Moura looked very impressive as well; he has the combination of strength, balance, and pace that makes life very difficult for opposing defenders, and he was also willing to come off of the touchline and drive into space when needed.

I'm not going to claim to have seen a great deal of Brazil, and I appreciate they were up against a disjointed Team GB, but judging by tonight's performance, this Brazilian side could go very far.

Oscar controlled the game. MOTM.

Both Oscar and Lucas are great talents but quite clearly, even just based on the game today, Lucas is the entertainer who gets you off your seat, much like Ronaldinho, while Oscar is like an efficient creative technician in the mold of Ozil. Personally I would take Lucas withiout doubt. Also bear in mind Oscar is a year older.

He hasn't signed for chelsea yet but it will become official after the olympics. This was known way before tonight's match but just before kick off, cameras focused on sturridge and you could see him going up to Oscar, shaking his hand and asking a question. Oscar smiled and nodded.

He's definitely a chelsea player for next season.

Silly article.

posted on 20/7/12

I don't know why this is a 'silly article'. Neymar is being compared to Messi and Ronaldo, people speak about him in the same breath as those two. So he is infact 'overrated'. He's good but not Messi-good.
