You can read this on page 355 of his book. No mention of sacking Cantona what so ever.
Carricks a decent pl midfielder, gets it, passes it, makes tackles and covers allot of ground but he gets shown up at the highest level, barca did it (although 442 really didn't help him that night) Milan did it to him too. I don't watch every united game in Europe but having lived with a united fan for 2 years I saw the majority and I can't remember carrick ever standing out, maybe in that Roma game where you hopped off them but did he play in that game?
Still he's a good pl player and has a great medal haul so I'm sure he's happy with his career
Did Charlie 'Hollywood Ball' Adam and Henderson score 15 goals last season?
Carrick is better than people give him credit for. The Barca match you mentioned, he was pretty much alone against those 3 of Barca. Not gonna work in his favor.
