Fire sale?

We ave sold the ineffective Cahill and are rumoured to be selling Heitinga. Not sure how that constitutes a fire sale......Rather those two than Jags, Fellaini, Baines, Rodwell, Barkely etc...

5 things mate,

1. It's the Daily Fail
2. The club is Fenerbache & after their performance over Yobo, I doubt Bill would give them the steam off his p1ss.
3. The fee - £5M? behave that's a joke.
4. He's got 2 years left on his contract, so thorough reporting there from the Fail.
5. He said himself only the other day, "I'm going nowhere"

Moyes could be possibly be tempted to part with him, but for £5M to Fenerbache? Not a chance in hell.

Would be gutted to see him leave, our best passer out of defence and a great all round competitor

Alright Fellaini!

I think you could just be making room on your wage bill for new arrivals!

posted on 25/7/12

But we have no money for new arrivals

For £8 - 10M, I could see him being tempted, IF he had specific plans for the money

Hmmm, interesting thought.

Imagine what we could do with a transfer budget!

KLS: TC's departure paved the way for Pienaar's wages, I really can't see this happening, mainly for the reasons stated by TB.

HMM, plus why leave only two senior CB's with just Duffy as cover?

Plus we let Dier return to Portugal, I hoped we would have signed him up

I agree a sensible contribution from TB.

posted on 25/7/12

TB, you beat me to that point. He would never go into a season with only Jags and SD as senior CBs.

Sorry I meant FPP....

HMM, unless he see's Duffy as good enough. Watched him afew times and his reading of the game is good, but lacks the decision making experience to flight games gives you....he is at a catch22 stage in his development I think.

There's no way he'd go into the season with 3 CB's, IF he sells Johnny, then he'll have a replacement lined up imo.

In Moyes We Trust

posted on 25/7/12

i heard on the radio this morning around 5 million. if that is true and it is accepted then i am sure moyes has a replacement lined up even if it is already an everton player!

can't see johnny going for 5m we bought him for that and i think Moyes would want a profit on him plus if you're right about him having more than 1 year left then the rumor is a complete non starter

Can not see it myself, but then again stranger things have happened

What's the latest with Joseph then??

posted on 25/7/12

Well I doubt he will be back at the club come September, for once the club is holding out for the best possible price.

posted on 25/7/12

The price is agreed, apparently Yobo has decided he's not been shown enough 'love' by the Turks & is considering his options. Or in laymans terms has had a better wage offer via the side door. I wish he'd just phook off tbh, he's like a t urd that you think you've flushed & then it just creeps back round the U bend.
