We played some nice football lastnight but are really lacking a cutting edge pass, Hooper has barely had a sniff at goal all pre season.

What worries me is next week Lennon goes with just big Sam up front on his own, I hope not as we are at home and with our bad away record we need a few goals, which at the moment is not happening.

We should be giving our starting 11 for next week as much game play as poss to get them match fit

As for Beattie sorry mate I think he is better than Murphy, reason being is Beattie knows our game were Murphy doesn't.

Hooper & Stokes both hit 20+ goals last season, Rasmussen has a good goalscoring record Lennon obviously doesn;t think he suits our style & wants him off the wage bill, I think he could still do a job & is probably the striker we need to complete the squad in that position.

I'm concerned that Samaras is head and shoulders above any of our attacking players now.

Off the wage bill? He gets paid in V05 hair mousse. He's just fcukin terrible. Stokes is never trusted in big games and Hooper wants a move to League One coz he knows the SPL is a dead rubber and he wants to make the England squad for the World Cup.

He's hardly played for us, and when he did he always got on the end of things and grabbed a few goals.

Even when he was out on loan he was scoring goals.

For the development side he is always scoring goals.
