I think that you're getting a bit ahead of yourself.

RVP has displayed last season that he can be a devastating front man, and thats what we need. IF (huge, massive, titanic if) we get him, we gota play him up top.

I think it will be

Nani Rooney Kagawa

RVP

But i'm sure they'll interchange.

PhilJones

Of course, Chelsea are looking good

Arsenal fans

I love you all but next season Spurs will be kicking you all the way to Thursday nights. Sorry!

I agree, he'll need to prove himself worthy of a first team place first.

He's also liable to missing guilt-edged chances. On the whole, he's a very good player though.

He scores against the big teams and is left footed. Just what we need

Based on what? Also try to remember this YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED HIM YET and it's highly unlikely you will.

The Spurs strike force is looking a lot tamer than Arsenals even with or without RVP.
If i were a Tottenham supporter i would be a tad concerned.

Nah, Spurs have signed Verthongen, so helping shore up their defence, have signed Sigurdsson who is a very good player, will sign Moutinho the second Modric goes and will also sign Adebayor. And a certain Mr Bale will have his best season yet.
And AVB is a manager with a mission to prove people wrong.
I'm no Spurs fan you crazy Gooners but if I were you i'd be more worried than when Harry was there.

People seem to forget that we built the team around van Persie. If you look through most of his goals from last season, they were literally unmissable.

Is Sky Italia even reliable? Who you following for this Stretty?

Sigurdsson isn't as good as you are making out. Vertonghen is a good player but is unproven at this level. They won't sign Moutinho. Too expensive for them. And Adebayor might not sign for them.

Also we have a very good team which could be adding Cazorla to the ranks who is a very very good player. We will do well. Oh, and Wenger > AVB.

That's my point. Look, you're a good team and i'm probably a bigger Walcott supporter than most Arsenal supporters but I genuinely think Podolski is awful. Giroud looks good and if he can hit the ground running then you may do well.

VRF

I think Sky Italia are about as reliable as SSN. So take from that what you will

posted on 25/7/12

With no decent striker, they'll be nowhere. Vertonghen is unproven in my eyes, and in defence it is important that a player settles in quickly. Andre Villas Boas a tactical disaster waiting to happen. Mark. My. Words.

The two volleys, one being at Anfield, he scored a hat trick at Stamford Bridge and both games v Utd, cant really remember any of them being unmissable, well maybe the one at OT, but them goals are just off the top of my head, im sure theres plenty more were the wernt 'unmissable'

Because I love to attention seek.

posted on 25/7/12

All Podolski and Giroud need to be able to do is finish from inside the box. We won't get any volleys, but van Persie won't have Song.

posted on 25/7/12

And by the by, there's no point making stupid predictions about Arsenal dropping out of the top 4. With Wenger managing them, they'll always finish there because they have the experience of it. I'd back Spurs to finish 5th again next season, and Chelsea 3rd.

posted on 25/7/12

I wasn't going to.

I always pick Arsenal for top 4 but I personally think they'll be outside this season. That's my view! As long as United are first I don't care if Arsenal finish 2nd and Spurs finish 29th
