Hmm - don't get this. He's a good young player, there's a fee involved on a transfer. Cash in and don't let the contract run down. Why sign a loan when there will be clubs interested in a fine player.

Seems to me like Kean relieving himself of a managerial problem - potentially at the club's expense (in terms of not gaining as much on the transfer, let alone the fact that we've lost a good young player as a result of Kean's mismanagement).

Bizarre as usual, why on earth is he being loaned? Either cash in now when his profile and contract length are favourable, keep him so he can help us, or lose probably a significant amount of his value by packing him off to Spain for a year.

Of course the crazies must take the least beneficial of the 3 options. Maybe there's nobody left at the club who actually knows how to conduct a player sale, if Anderson doesn't have his grubby hands on things anymore.

but remember, no one wants to leave and the majority of the squad will be kept intact...

Yakubu - gone
Hoilett - gone
N'Zonzi - gone
Olsson - agent has re-iterated his desire to leave, as good as gone

so basically our 4 best players (or 4 of our best) going/gone.

but technically kean isn't lying. more than half of the sqaud won't be leaving. we're keeping all the c r a p ones.

hurray.

I’m guessing the logic behind the loan is he’s clearly fallen out with Kean and ideally the club want to get rid but no one is willing to pay the £10m that we are apparently looking for so send him out on loan, hope that he does well and you might get a close to that when you go to sell him next season.

Loaned?

The last I heard we wanted 10 million for the player, which was always a joke, but I at least thought we may get 3 or 4 million in a fast sale.

I cannot see how loaning Nzonzi out helps us at all. I sincerely hope we are not contributing to his salary whilst he is there as well.

And there is the rub. Our best players gone as we all expected and our shocking recruitment policy over the last 18 months will now kick in and the donkeys left will now start getting game time.

The rollercoaster continues.

Anyone who disagrees with Kean is sent packing before they can turn the heads of others, cost is not an issue, the future of players is not an issue, the fans not an issue, he is like a dictator at the club, he will do anything to stay at the top. He stiches people up, he lies, he would probably have people whacked if he could.
I almost have visions of him coming out at Ewood next season dressed in a military uniform, covered in medals, the stands full of fans chanting his name, a giant statue of him overlooking the ground, as the players warm up by goose stepping, then he will do a speech about marching to the European cup final, where victory will be his.
Could he be the modern day hit...?

I seriously doubt he will increase in value going to Spain. He's made his name in England, and England is where a big chunk of the money is in football. Giving every PL club a chance to forget about him for a year aint gonna help. Plus will he actually do well over there in just 12 months? Adapting to the style of play will probably take half that time given his best attributes don't really fit a non-contact, posession retention game.

The sage himself says we will lose one or two but not six or seven. So far its three or four. He sold everyone before anyway.
Can we not add Petrovic to the departure list, I know he was ****.

The worrying thing for me is how readily the club are accepting player’s requests to leave

Yakubu…..yeah, no problem Yak, off you go.
Hoilett….see ya mate, best of luck wherever you… give us a few quid before you leave?
Olsson….all the best……thanks for playing for us
N’zonzi…..where do you wanna go? Spain?...no problem…we’ll sort that out for you

The Emerton move summed up that attitude.

Bit homesick? Nah who cares about the relegation battle, get your bags packed son.

Should've at least put in a loan fee. Letting him go on loan just so we're not paying his wages is a silly move. Unless our budget is really stretched right now.

He probably falls out with them when he is ****** up.

N'zonzi is very over rated and lazy and anyone who turns there back on the ball can buzzer off hope he never plays for us again
He is being loaned out cos he's rubbish and the best we could get is 2 million max if we was lucky

Skin - technically he's one of our best players. His 'attitude' was his manager's fault as far as I'm concerned. He is worth well more than £2m and, at that price, would be a steal.

In some ways, the quality of his game may be enhanced by being in Spain given his more technical approach to a DM position (positioning, passing over tackling) and where the pace may suit him more. Hopefully he may enhance his fee but is this in the best interests of the club. I doubt it but Kean has never been focused on that - and lacks the appropriate senior management structure to properly regulate his behaviour.

++++++++++++++
If he's worth more than 2 million where are the bids for him no one will pay for him his behaviour was shocking last season worse i have ever seen
It maybe a 12 month loan but i hear we can recall him in January if it's true i hope his attitude is better

Well if it makes ya feel better. Couldn't be Kean's fault as he was a million miles better under Allardyce? Couldn't be the fact that not a single one of our other midfielders could defend last season? I'm sure his replacement will be far better than him, the laughable Gattuso or Danny Murphy who apparently struggled to cope with the pace of Rochdale today.

We all know Kean is the worse Manager we have ever had but if you want to blame him for everything so be it but N'zonzi attitude was shocking you don't turn your back on the ball ever no matter who is manager

posted on 27/7/12

Well maybe you've got a point. But the rub is that there is no way we'll get a replacement for N'Zonzi with even 70% of his ability. So we'd be far better off keeping him and losing the woeful manager who fails to motivate him. Saying "good riddance, you weren't up to much anyway" to every player that leaves might be a comforting attitude, but at the end of it all we'll be left with a bog-standard Championship squad that even a much better manager than Kean won't be able to promote.
