If the Barca players want him so much...

Cos they're idiots. No respect for us as a club, or any other club for that matter.

They're total hypocrits. Look at the Sanchez situation! He has no ties with them so they have to pay the price shown. End of, thats that.

Then they insult him by saying things like he's not worth as much as last year, and make up bull like he's deeply unhappy at arsenal.

I'm sorry if a man was that unhappy I'm sure he would say something about it.

Don't worry though. When he does leave the Arsenal curse will get him, and then we'll see whose laughing.

MUHAHAHAHAHAHA

Free cesc!

Cesc is a spoilt git.

He is captain of one of the best teams in Europe and with a millionaire lifestyle yet he sulks until he can go sit on the bench at his home club.

PATHETIC!

Sell him now and replace him with someone who wants to be here.

Make Vermaelen captain and then get on with the season.

He could quite easily wait until his 27 to go for big money after signing a deal extention/agreement with us (similar to what Cashley did).

Or go on a free in 2015. Enough of this moaning every summer, if Barca really wanted him they would pay the cash, like they did for Villa, Mascherano etc.

Should read.. ' he is captain of a team which will win nothing in europe or at home due to a lack of substance, with an unfulfilled lifestyle due to work problems, who hasn't once sulked, and who would play quite alot of football for the best team ever to grace a football pitch, if the transfer went through'

Cesc wouldn't warm the bench. They would rotate obviously. And if xavi/iniesta got a long term injury, they would find it very difficult to bench cesc on their return, once he got a decent run in the team..

Option A - Failure, Rain, Dissappointment, Depression

Option B - Medals, Sun, Family, Home, Happiness

What would you choose?

How can you be so desperate for a player and then come out and publicly state that he's not worth that much any more?

Because we won't accept their insulting valuation of him, they try some of the most public and blatant unsettling of a player that has ever been seen.

It's laughable.

to be fair to Barcelona, you did pinch Cesc from them before he could sign a professional contract, due to age laws in Spain and you're in the process of pinching more players from their academy

Also we all know what Xavi said is true, if it wasn't Cesc would have come out a year or two ago saying it wasn't.

=======================================================

He has come out numerous times and said he is happy at Arsenal.

Time after time he has said that he has a dream to play for Barca but it is not up to him if he leaves, and that he is happy to stay if the move doesn't come off.

He has never handed in a transfer request, unlike Modric and Torres for example. It's just the media and fans of other clubs stoking the fires.

He is very close to Wenger and wouldn't do or say anything to harm the club.

He is just being premature in his wanting to leave I think, he could give it a couple more years he is only 22, we all know he will leave some day, but now is too early he hasn't won things in England yet, or proven that he can be the best in Europe.

Then he can move to Barca when he has won with Arsenal, or if he hasn't won, leave anyway at about the age of 25+.

I don't understand the rush, he can join Barca at his peak and walk into the team when Xavi has stopped playing.
