Is Peltier any good?

It will never be the case that every player who joins any club [and whether previously a 'good' player or not] will be a success.

There are plenty of examples - and high profile ones at that - of players who 'fail' on moving clubs. There are also many examples of players who seem to blossom and improve under new leadership and in a different environment.

So we shall see is the only logical response to your question.

Whether any but one or two clubs could afford a defender who has pace, can attack and defend with equal aplomb I doubt. So whatever he is he will be a compromise.

I read a lot saying he is good going forward but not amazing defending.

We knew he was a target last week when we heard Leeds had submitted a written bid.

I like what Warnock is saying here, he's basically letting Peltier know that he's looking at others and to make his mind up quick.

Yeah Jonty thats how i read it as well mate. Must be a Warnock thing as Grayson/Bates were so tight lipped it was unsetteling at times!

Orange, i know very few players (especially at this level) have all 3 qualities but if you can get a player who has 2 of the 3 (preferably Pace & Defending) i just wondered if he was actually a decent player as i dont recall seeing him play...or if i have he didnt stand out?! Do Leicester & Hudders fans rate him?

I really like the fact that Warnock isn't scared to take about targets in the press. It lets the fans know which rumours are actually true.

I have watched Town a few times and thought he was a good right backand I think he will be coming to us ahead of Town as they have a very exciting proposition in young Jack . I also think that McCormack will be the next to leave possibly in the next few days Town could be his destination

Mate is a Fester supporter and he rates him. Ok at defending but great at attacking.

Peltier isn't a bad player, just not as good as he thinks he is.

To be honest, we got the best out of him in central midfield. If I had money to spend on a right back for a championship club, Peltier would be well down my list. However, he proved to be very versatile whilst with us so would be a decent squad player for you.

apparently town have pulled out of the bidding due to fox,s wanting 850k for him!
he,s a good player who will do well for you at rb......glad he isnt returning to us cos we have jack hunt who is a cracking young talent....and cos he sheite on us too!

I think he's alright. I'm not sure why we are selling him because I'd be happy with him playing next season. He can get caught out sometimes but then who doesn't. I did see some really good tackles and chasing back last season.
