What is your gripe with Gibbs, Dubbed? Couldn't possibly have anything to do with him being English and thus a headless chicken rather than a technical magician that would rival the left back version of Ronaldinho, would it?

Not just me who said it, everyone who watched the game would agree

Dubbed just can't admit when he's wrong, which will just make him look sillier in the long run

I don't like average players being hyped up.

posted on 27/7/12

Neither do I, I don't know what that has to do with Gibbs though.

I was insinuating the fact that Gibbs is average. A lot of gooners are extremely blinkered when it comes down to our players.

Gibbs is not average. Solid player that will get better.

The fact you think Santos is a better left back than him tells me all I need to know.

Santos can at the very least attack, no matter how woeful his defending is.

You'll see this season. And I am hoping I am wrong about this. But Gibbs will be a massive gaping weakness down our left side. You just watch.

You'll all be like "oooh what's happening?"
Then I'll emerge from the darkness with a smug but solemn look on my face, saying "I told you".

Santos is a shambles at left back, he should only play on the wing. Gibbs supports the attack well from LB because he's always in control and uses the ball well, with Santos he's all over the place.

So what season will Nasri be winning the Ballon D'Or Dubbed?

you said the same thing about Gibbs being a liability last year though, about the same time when you said Traore was better than him lol

Me? I never rated Traore.

No Dubbed, think he said it was because he was better defensively

Can somebody remind me of the score at OT last season. I'm asuming we won 1-0 or something, surely a defensively sound player like Traore would have slotted that headless chicken Ashley Young in his back pocket with ease

I said there's no seperating Traore and Gibbs. You're laughing as if Gibbs has gone on to become a world class player, which further shows how deluded you are.
I don't get your fascination with Gibbs. Very strange one.

I know... fan of clubs likes player from club, it's unbelievable

And you said Traore was better than Gibbs, and Traore is a shockingly bad left back. I've never said Gibbs is world class but he's a quality young player who'll get better and better

and it's not really a strange opinion if most people agree he's class.

"I know... fan of clubs likes player from club, it's unbelievable "

Did you just say "likes"? You worship him.

You'd do anything for him if you met him. And I mean anything.
You would probably buy all the Gibbs merchandise. Just a shame it doesn't exist.

"And you said Traore was better than Gibbs, and Traore is a shockingly bad left back. I've never said Gibbs is world class but he's a quality young player who'll get better and better "

If Traore's bad, Gibbs is just as bad. As I stated earlier, they're both on par. Very little separating them. Traore is quicker, so I'd probably be forced to hand it to him.
