Just seen the footage again and I can't see any none white competitors in the German squad. Very fishy.
Apparently it's the Olympic salute very similar but done with the other arm. Don't know how true this is.

Looks like a nasi salute to me..and a guy of his age kniws exactly what he is doing and how it can be interpretated
