Reverend - the salient point here is that you created an article saying you wanted him at Arsenal. He wouldn't fit in and I don't think he's good enough either. He isn't productive enough and he isn't the calibre of player we should be going for.

If he's an attacking midfielder, then why is he being played in a defensive position? That makes no logical sense whatsoever if you can't get the best out of your player. I don't think the Schalke manager would be stupid enough to play an attacking midfielder in a holding role. That would be like us playing Arshavin as a dm. Would be ineffectual and pointless.

I appreciate gunnerthur knows more about me than bundesliga, but i still 100% belive holtby is better than walcott although its pointless comparing as they play in different positions. he has a better shot pass tackle and doesnt go missin for 99% of games.

So what you're saying is there are players better than him who are currently competing for the same position but he has to be accommodated in a less-favourable role because other players have a better impact than him?

Seriously Rev, you're just making up a load of excuses for a player who simply is not good enough for Arsenal.

I wouldn't mind him being on the bench as an impact player, but as far as being a regular starter for our team goes, that's a massive no-no.
