Maybe RVP releasing that statement actually worked in our favour and forced Wenger to get the finger out! RVP or no RVP I'm getting excited about the next season
he would be a massive signing; its possible to draw alot of parallels to arshavin actually. similar stature, reputation and even age. Unlike arshavin he has a great work ethic.
However, he will little re sale value which is why its quite shocking we are after him. Really seems like Wenger is finally ready for a last push to bring us back to the top.
I think last summers fiasco which personally hurt wenger brought a change in philosophy and could be one of the best things to happen to us in a while.

He's the best player in La Liga outside the big two. He is a regular in the spanish squad and actually starts a lot of games for them in qualifiers/friendlies.
Ars-Bandeet is right, he's similar to Arshavin in terms of styles but he has a bit of Silva about him in the sense he is a 'tippy tappy' player. Arshavin is more direct.
He is world-class imo.

As for eisfield looks a good prospect, hope he can stay fit, as he had his injury problems in the past.
