OP has issues. He doesn't like Giroud because he is supposedly a one season wonder in the French league, and yet wanted us to sign Marvin Martin, one season after his one good season with Sochaux (Martin was extremely average last season). Check this nugget out:

And Giroud scored one league goal with his head last season, he actually got >90% of them with his feet. So saying we don't play to his strengths since we don't cross enough, and comparing him to Chamakh is idiotic.

I do agree with your one decent point that CHamakh is not actually such a bad player.
