I hope he does brilliantly so that it will be easier for us to get rid next season.

£23m if they are paying wages

If this plan succeeds, it could be the best bit of transfer business we've ever done. Coincidentially, the same player was part of the worst ever.

So we have just one senior out and out striker in Borini now

...........................................................................

so what is suarez then?

Cavani

The point is that Borini is our only player whose title would be 'goalscorer'. Suarez does more and is not an out-and-out striker. So we probably need one more Borini-type and one more Suarez-type (in terms of role, not necessarily ability).

we need dempsey and ramirez and then we'll be sorted.

a front 3 of:

Ramirez....Suarez....Dempsey

with back ups being
RW/LW - Downing
RW/LW - Bellamy
RW/LW - Cole
RW/LW - Sterling
RW/LW/CF - Borini

and of course dempsey can play through the middle as well

Borini, Suarez, Bellamy and Morgan are our strikers at the moment.

Dempsey would be a good addition.

Carroll wasn't actually a goalscorer last season

I am concerned for Liverpool to be honest. This is a shocking bit of business if true.

Borini is an utter waste of money watched him in Italy and in a very slow paced league he did not look very comfortable.

As for Carroll his abilites on the football pitch are fantastic, defensively and offensively.

Carroll may well not suite the way Rodgers would like to play but he is a heck of a plan b. Sadly plan b is something Rodgers completely lacks

I am a spurs fan but i do feel for Liverpool they should be right up there top of the table, the fans deserve it but at the moment your squad is barely even top 10 material in my opinion.

Well, life isn't worth living anymore. The striker we've signed is apparently crap and the striker we're getting rid of is apparently brilliant. Fetch the cyanide.

I have got my own concerns with Spurs and A.V.B's strange/idiotic ways of defending!

I'm awaiting the call. I might be 38 now, but I still know where the old onion bag is, and my wages wouldn't be too much of a problem.

Chelsea fans rate Borini really highly?

In Hindsight though I dont think Allen is a pressing priority at all, look at the midfielders we have already got <headhuts>

BR needs to solve the goal scoring problems, then work on his system! But what do goals win?? Points and what do Points win......?? Well
