I think Rangers fans are more committed to following the team than ever, and will go all over to back the team.
Character building stuff, and what football is all about.
I hate what has happened to Rangers, but have to look forward and make the most of this season.
True Westcoast,re.Brechin, and as stated,we looked poor.
Time for youth to get a run out............those who did not run away.Surprised by some, who could be bench warming elsewhere.
Hope it is interesting Jinky,on the pitch, and if we draw you guys in a cup, what a build up and day that will be mate.
bluebell, what your saying is fair enough, thats why i cant understand all the anger towards everybody else?? If we had not voted rangers out the SPL then no-one would have got what they wanted including rangers??
Thebluebellsareblue
Agree mate old firm days I am going to miss so if we meet can you imagine the buzz
Have to say I didn't agree with Greens comments and can see him landing in hot water over this, I understand his is angry with the way it's been handled but using the word bigot is something I think he will regret using
You cannae use the B word up here
Jinky
It'll probably prove to be a sharp lesson for green
Imagine the build up and the atmosphere if we do meet in the cup (that's if Rangers fans show up, what with their boycott and all that )
Just to put things into a bit of perspective, just watched a report on Syria. There, they are fighting and dying for freedom and rights. Here we are bickering day after day about integrity and taxes. We should be grateful we can share our differences openly
Westcoast
Many bears feel other fans and clubs were putting the boot in with way too much vigour, even though people at Rangers created our problems.
Hard to say what punishment we deserved, but if you were a bear, how would you feel?
We tend to back our club to the hilt, for example,it is always a penalty when our man goes down, but the rest dive etc.
Just as bank customers did not create the bank crisis,so Rangers fans did not create our problems, but we are suffering now.Just have to suck it up and move on.
jukebox, we want to get scottish football sorted soon before the impending finacial meltdown hits europe
Juke
Agree Green will learn fast using words like that
As for meeting up in the cup I would bet that Rangers will be there aswell
Mate you couldn't have put it better this is banter on here and that s the way it should stay, end of the day this is a game we are talking about
Aye, Green will have to learn that only Rangers fans are bigots.
Juke haven't ye heard they are going to boycott all SPL teams.......except Celtic
Juke just watching zoe.. Not bad but not so patch on the cyclist, lizzy??
Aye, people take it to heart a bit too much sometimes. It's football at the end of the day, a game played by overpaid primadonnas (for the most part) at the highest level and true fans for a laugh and enjoyment at a lower level.
I can understand fans getting angry and losing their cool sometimes because it is something close to their hearts but it is just a game at the end of the day
Agree Juke, about how we bicker over football, while folk die around the world. It is our luxury, but we do not appreciate it.
Regarding the use of the bigot word,it is not always a religous issue guys. Some folk hate or dislike others for many reasons and anti-Rangers feeling does appear to be bitter at times, and not always deserved.
There may be bigots who are out to sink Rangers and if Celtic were in our shoes, other bigots would be at it imo.
The bigot word may be OTT at times, especially as I have not read what Green said in full, but we all know there are bigots on all sides, and not all are bears or bhoys btw.

That Victoria Pendleton is a stunner. There was a good documentary about her the other week, might still be on the iplayer.

Bluebell, a lot of fans have followed their clubs for decades with little or no success, after what has went on if rangers had been 'let off lightly' it would have been the straw that broke the camels back. Most fans (myself included) will feel this is their chance of more cup finals, and another slot for europe. And starting at the bottom was what was fairest, how would you have felt in 87 if you found out fergie and wee jim had been cheating through the early 80s??
Bluenose
Come on mate nobody saying that you have idiots on both sides, but Green using the word bigot won't go down well, I mean could you imagine if Peter can out and said that, even better Lennon there would be murder
Guys, watch the womens hockey theres a few honeys in team GB
I understand what you say Westcoast, and most bears accept the punishment and Div 3.......no choice tbh.
The cheat thing is open to question, but dodgy dealing appears to have taken place,as it does in football.More to follow in other clubs,I reckon, after this inquiry.
Fair play for backing a team that rarely wins and as an NI fan,I can relate to that loyalty, with little reward.
The mock outrage shown by Gers fans if Lawell or Lennon had come out with that would have been pandemonium.
You saw what they were like when Lennon questioned dodgy refereeing decisions or when Lawell suggested Rangers mystery bid for Jelavic was made-up
Zara Phillips is lovely too...........nice jodpers or slacks.
Of course there is Jinky.
Would be good if it was accepted on both sides of the divide though.
Yup guys victoria is alright but lizzie for me
Cant wait for the athletics to start.
