macca on liverpool-rumours.co.uk said that we are likely to loan a star player. He is normally spot on with his info - he knew about rodgers and borini before most people

Surely if we let Carroll go then we need a replacement, I would like Aqau to stay but feel we have cover there if he does go.

I thought we needed a new striker with Carroll staying, at least it might mean Beller's stays here.

Yeah Macca is generally always spot on. He's got everything right this window regarding transfers and Rodgers. Believe it or not he actually is "ITK"

Yes Cobnob - we're likely to bring someone in on loan. Nothing definite, but apparantly a "major" signing. People are going nuts predicting Kaka or Villa or Muller.

Hmmm, I would guess it would be Tello or the other Barca youngster Deulofeu if we loan anyone.

He said Muniain and Soldado were targets earlier in the window.

He does seem to be right fairly often, or at least in the general ball park, but he has said quite a few things about the stadium as well that have not as of yet come to anything.

If we do loan a star player then I will start believing him a bit more as that is a difficult thing to guess.

Munian and Soldado were targets under Dalglish... when Rodgers came on board everything changed. Besides which if he said they were targets, that doesn't mean to say we are going to sign everyone we target.
