I'd rather we got Nigel Quashie to be perfectly honest.
Tevez is better. But wages are too high. And he's too much of an idiot.

The Tevez part would never happen due to various reasons.
De Jong is realistic though. Dutch for Dutch
I'd accept £25m + De Jong

this
The ONLY reason why RVP wants to go is because of the ridiclous wages that Man City offer.
So why would we accept a player, Tevez, who is on reportedly more than what is being offered to RVP and another who is on triple of Song's wages?
As I said, it was the suggestion of a friend of mine who supports Arsenal. Tbh I agree that Tevez is too unpredicatable and would demand too high wages for this to be realistic. Just wondered whether I'm friends with an idiot or a typical Arsenal fan!
We have a few people like your friend on this board Norb. But he is no doubt an idiot.
That is confirmed.
Get De Jong + £15m and Tavez on loan with City paying his wages for year loan. Sounds good deal to me...as De Jong worth not more than £6-7 m just now which means RVP worth £20-£21m. Win win for both..
Cheers Dubbed, I'll be certain to let him know his idea was pretty much crushed!
Is your friend's name Kamran by the way?
