Carlo apparantly was definitely not the man to lead Chelsea forward and AVB definitely was

He was too old. 34 is perfect for a manager
Gazza
Not given Josh the chance when Lampard was playing rubbish, i think was one mistake AVB did when he was here. Atleast, he would left a legacy for us. We just have to hat off to CA

as amazing as 09/10 was, 10/11 was an utter shambles thanks in no small part to his own ineptitude
he also dispolayed a tactical rigidity that would make Capello blush and delivered some of the most turgid football i have ever seen at the Bridge
he showed no real mettle when it really mattered either. i can honestly say that it was under his management we looked further than ever from the European Crown that currenty resides in the trophy cabinet
ultiamately it's about what they will achieve, not what they have done. we would have stangated had Carlo stayed on
I hear one of his eyebrows is kept on show at Stamford Bridge.
Carlo is a Chelsea legend! end of!
I like Carlo - he was and still is a good manager. However, the fact that Josh wasn't good enough to get into the Swansea team kind of ruins your argument.
Saint Carlo
Don't see the fuss about him.
i'd also like to ppint out to the Carlo lovers that he failed to win the French League with the wealthiest and easily the strongest side in the division
Guy won the double, beat Arsenal, Pool and United home and away, 103 goals! Show some respect!!!!
1st when he came. Drops their best player while ending up second

Most turgid football you've ever seen at the bridge? Come off it. Why the exxageration click? If you want turgid look no further than AVB and then RDM for turgid.
Also how are you so sure that we would have definitely stagnated if Carlo stayed on? What if he was given the players RDM is getting? Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Marin, Romeu?
Carlo's a 2 time CL winner. Don't think anyone needs to question his European pedigree at all
Giving youngsters 5 min comeos isn't trust. I can only think of one occasion during his reign where Carlo gave a relative youngsters real responsability (Bruma against AV). He used to make alot of big claims; "Kakuta is the future of Chelsea", "Borini is the next Inzaghi", etc... but his actions come matchday didn't reflect that same confidence.
Carlo would've never given Romeu 7 games on the spin like AVB did, wouldn't have ran with Sturridge on the right (our main threat would've still been Anelkalouda). And he certainly wouldn't have trusted Bertrand in a CL final.
Ridiculous how Carlo gets slammed for that one horrible horrible season where we finished 2nd
His haters never fail to mention it
Its like " Yeah he won our club's first ever double, fair enough BUT did you see his horrific shambolic awful 2nd season?"
Shove the double winning season under the carpet and exxagerate how bad the 2nd season really was

He deserved his tunnel sacking. Lets dump Robbie in Monaco
How did he deserve his tunnel sacking TCP?

AVB's disjointed CFC of 11/12 > Carlo's Passionless CFC of 10/11 (specifically the xmas period + the three matches against United) ....... no contest.
But then again, i am campaigning
