Am not surprised the bid was rejected by the RFL, and quite rightly too in my opinion - far too many strings attached by the consortium: a classic case of the tail wagging the dog. And what the RFL do not want is to set a precedent for this kind of arm-twisting by an interested party.

Now we're told that the Bulls are £1.5m in debt! That is a huge amount for a league club, and just begs the question what were the previous owners doing to the club, and how is they can just walk away as if nothing had happened!
if this new bid is accepted it effectively means all 13 clubs in the SL own a slice of the Bulls. A very magnanimous gesture I am sure, but will this "solidarity" continue should another SL club subsequently suffer a similar fate? By rights they should, otherwise they will be accused of favouring the big/successful clubs over the lesser teams.
I also realise this bid is only short-term (which is good!), and that it gives the the Administrator more time to find a suitable bidder for next season. But even if they do find a new owner, I still say the Bulls should be relegated or docked 15 points (or more) rather than the pathetic 6 they were given a couple of weeks ago.

I never see the point in deducting points when a club goes into administration why take it out on the fans and players

Another bid for the Bulls, but no conditions this time. It doesn't say who the offer was from.
