I love how £2m to £3m is not considered a lot of money by football fans.

Personally I fully support the way we go about our business as it seems to be based on some basic common sense which ultimately secures the long term future. Frustrating as it can be!

Didnt seem like common sense when we were joint top in jan and we got a couple of loan signings and blew the best chance we have had in many yrs of going for the title

I guess he just means that in the grand scheme of things, if you are already spending 12 .mil then an extra 2 or 3 isn't much to potentially get a great keeper instead of a good keeper. If having the right keeper (same with a striker) helped to get CL and possibly a cup then it's money well spent surely

No £2-3m isn't much (relatively) if your trying to get into CL and want to play with the big boys. £20-30m is. £2-3m IS big money if you're in the championship.

Where's the fecking ambition? Much as I hate it because of the cancers that are man city and Chelsea the goalposts have been moved. We need to do this. Obviously not blow millions we may not have but surely we can afford £5m or so here and there?!

Trust me, whilst i'd love to break the bank to get a new goalkeeper, the idea that we should "break the bank" or raise our bid by £3-4m comes up in relation to every single player. If we did this, and Levy just threw money at every player we bought, we would find ourselves a bit short of kitty money for other transfers we might need.

Also, i hate the way some fans think Levy is just sitting on his office chair talking to his pet fish. The bloke is an absolute master in business, and whilst i dont trust his judgement in certain situations (ie. hiring AVB), i am pretty sure he is not slacking in his duties. Have patience.
