He can't even be courageous and face the media, just releases a statement to the press association. Mr dignity ehh.

When things were going his way he was never off the tv, now he's like a recluse. Even now after all that's happened he shown no sense of humility or shame about his part in it all.

With idiots handing out death threats like there going out of fashion, you cant really blame him for trying to keep a low profile(no pun intended).

mitre..What do you think the outcome will be?

good statement

though why it took so long Ive no idea.

But at least its all concluded now and we can get back to football.

Dunno to be honest.

Possibly the titles being wiped out where we used EBTs, given the public outcry. Would be harsh if it happens, but looking more likely by the day.

Would imagine that Celtic will get a wee hit becuase of the Juninho EBT also as the rules that are being applied is on the 'incorrect registration of players on game day'. Think that would impact 1 SC win for you guys. This is honestly not a wind-up comment, but I think it would have to happen, even though it is harsh.

Cant see the titles being redistributed, but you never know.

What do you think?

I like how he said Ranger should have some form of punishment for the events of the last year

Aye because you at the helm didn't affect it at all

posted on 6/8/12

why would you punish a football club for using a legal payment scheme?

That is both Celtic and Rangers.

I would honestly rate Murray as being worse than Whyte.

He is absolutely spot on.

Minty's statement does not corroborate with various statements made by ex-employees.

Sumbdy is lying.......

I guess NNH its rather like when you sell a car in bad condition then the new owner makes it worse and kills someone.

You cant jail the previous owner much as he may have played his part.

Yeah Rangers should be stripped..and Celtic should be stripped of their 2005 cup win..

I'm not wanting yer titles..I only want the ones we earned

I think it does Tim

some players have admitted they had access to loans SDM has said the same thing.

So the EBTs were legal AT THE TIME
and the dual contracts were legal AT THE TIME

We are potentially being retrospectively punished for the both of them.

Get tae fck

If this is the case, duke, when are Nerlinger et al paying their loans back?

"why would you punish a football club for using a legal payment scheme?"

=========================

Its actually a punishment for incorrectly registering players.

That is of course if the payments are found to be contractual.

In any other circumstance, this would be overlooked given at the time and still even now, there is a big debate as to them being contractual payments.

ITs taken legal experts the best part of a year to decide, and they still havent worked it out.

posted on 6/8/12

He mentions interest & repayment schedules.............did anybody ever repay these 'loans'??
