It's not even been 2 years and you're calling it "dominance". As far as I can remember, you lost, and lost miserably to pakistan and could only managed a draw against Sri Lanka. You're losing at the moment in your own back yard. I wouldn't really call it "dominance". More..back-yard bullies.
As for the KP saga..England's batting has become a little bit weak recently. You're struggling to find a suitable #6, to find a #4 will be even more difficult.
However, I doubt he will retire. His ego hasn't been fed well in a while so I suspect this is just another stunt for a bit of attention.
You grt sone bells on this board. Calm down, discusd.
Their was no offence meant in the post boys. Jes.
We are currently Test number 1 - Though maybe not for long. Rising massively in 50 overs and ranked number 1 in T20 and World Cup holders.
KP being a massive factor in Tests and T20 especially.
what does kp want? He seems to be a cry baby. you know what i feel, when kp retired from limited overs, he was expecting some flowers from ecb and welcome back card from ecb to come back. But it didnt happen, and it was an embarrasment for kp when he got left out from wt20. In short it backfired on kp, and now he is like I have lost all the limelight
im wondering whther an international player can play for 2 teams? and would his record from one team be carried over to another? maybe kp can go back to play for SA, and he will hv a more relaxed schedule and one where all sa players can play ipl 365 days.
KP should go. No player is bigger than the team. He wants special treatment. He won't get it. ECB and Flower should cut him loose now and get over it like they have in ODIs. As good a player as he is England haven't been carried on his back as many would have us believe (since '09 Cook has scored more runs, and Cook, Trott and Bell all have higher averages). Play 5 bowlers next game, put prior up the order. This also gives Bell the opportunity to bat at 4 instead of wasting him at 5.
However as a Pak fan, Pietersen is really England's Shahid Afridi. Both have the same burning passion for the game and are both charismatic. So I'm sure Pietersen will come back after this spat, he can't resist.
We are certainly dominating with regards to the "Ashes" which to me is the be all and end of all Test match cricket.
